 Day 1: Machupicchu Tour with a Vistadome De-luxe train with reserved seats.

Transfer from your hotels at 5.00 am to ollantaytambo Train Station. (Train leave at 07:40 am)
The train ride consists of spectacular views in this wonderful land of the Incas, (this train has big panoramic windows) amazing landscapes of mountains and valleys, Inca farming terraces on both sides of the valley, snow capped mountains and sub-tropical jungle near the Ceja de Selva. From Pachar the sacred Vilcanota river will be our companion until arrival at Aguas Calientes (2040m) well known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Your guide will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the bus for 25 minutes to Machu Picchu. A guided tour of Machupicchu “The Old Sacred Mountain” takes approx 2 hrs and then you have some free time for photos.

DAY 01: We leave Cusco early at 6:00 am in the morning in one of our vehicles. Approximately mid-morning we visit the interesting tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as “Chullpas”. Wecontinue to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial town, and then to the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve. Here,a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat forepiphytic plants such as bromeliads. This varied and fascinating world is home of the Cock of the Rock, Spectacled Bear, Orchids, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This cloud forest exists between 2,000 and 3,500 m.a.s.l. and at least 50% of the plant species found here are endemic to this region. Overnight in our Lodge in pilcopata .

Day 02: Today we wake up very early to observe birds  After breakfast we continue in our vehicle down the narrow road between waterfalls and Canyons toward the town of beautiful valleys, visiting beautifully farms and local people and then go to Atalaya Port. Here we board our covered, outboard motor boat and head down the Alto Madre de Dios River for approximately 45 minutes toward our private reserve comfortable /system that this transitional area between high and low jungle offers. And  after lunch  we  take  a  hike  to see  different  kind  of  medicinal plantas  exotic  pals huge  trees , fruits we  have   also  chance  to see monkeys ,birds, wild hens ,insects , etc Overnight at our Amazon lodge.

DAY 03: Amazon Lodge is located in a transition zone between high and low jungle (600 m.a.s.l. to 1,150 m.a.s.l), encompassing different habitats. This altitude range explains the high diversity of wildlife found around this lodge, so immediately after breakfast, we will start walking near the riverbanks, during the hike our guide will talk about insects,medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, etc. This afternoon we board our boat, and after five minutes, we will walk for another 30 minutes approximately though a very nice trail to observe and talk about the interesting flora fond such as sensitive plants,heliconias, fruit plantations, etc. until we arrive to Machuwasi Lake where with the help of a telescope we can observe great egrets, tucanets, carpenters, Keskadees, cardinals, etc.Short night walk to observe American bullfrogs, horned frogs, tree frogs and an incredible variety of insects.

DAY 04: This day we will get up very early to board our boat again for only five minutes down river to our Parrot clay Lick called “Collpa” on the riverbanks, where many species of parrots such as the blue headed parrot, white-eyed parakeet, feed for mineral and supplements to their diet of seeds and fruits. Immediately we continue to Atalaya Port where the bus will drive us back to Cusco city, arriving late in the evening.

DIA 1: CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA (A) (C):

Recojo del hotel (5:00 a.m aprox.) abordamos el carro con dirección al poblado de Mollepata aproximadamente 2,5 horas, al llegar al poblado desayunaremos (no incluido) luego continuaremos en carro  hasta llegar a Cruz Pata para dar inicio a nuestra caminata 2 a 3 horas aproximadamente, hasta llegar a SayllaPata en donde almorzaremos después de nuestro almuerzo nosotros tendremos tiempo para descansar y continuar con nuestra caminata con dirección a Soraypampa (3.850 m.s.n.m.) en esta parte del camino estaremos al frente del primer nevado llamado Humantay. Después estaremos alrededor de las 5 pm. Aprox. en nuestro primer campamento en donde nuestro cocinero nos estará esperando con algo de té caliente para retomar las fuerzas. Luego de un breve descanso en el campamento cenaremos.

DIA 2: SORAYPAMPA – CHAULLAY (D) (A) (C)

Muy temprano por la mañana partiremos de nuestro campamento, después de un fortificante desayuno con dirección al nevado Salkantay (4.540 m.s.n.m.) que es el punto más alto de toda la ruta por aproximadamente 4 horas ascenderemos este primer paso en donde tendremos un breve descanso para poder tomar las impresionantes vistas que se apreciará desde este punto. Durante el trayecto nos encontraremos con varios montículos de piedras denominados Apachetas. Después descenderemos por aproximadamente 1 hora donde almorzaremos y después seguiremos caminando por 3 horas aprox. hasta llegar a Chaullay en donde se encuentra nuestro segundo campamento. Cena y Pernocte.

DIA 3 : CHAULLAY – LA PLAYA (Sawayaco) – SANTA TERESA (D) (A) (C) :

Después de nuestro desayuno partimos de chaullay a las 7:00 am. aprox. para continuar con nuestra caminata con dirección a Collcapampa en donde pasaremos por estrechos senderos con abundante flora propias de la zona como los diferentes tipos de orquídeas y cascadas que se verá durante todo el trayecto. Después de 5 horas de caminata finalmente llegaremos a Sawayaco denominado también la playa en donde tomaremos un carro con dirección a Santa Teresa poblado que se encuentra a 1.645 m.s.n.m por aproximadamente 45 minutos nosotros estaremos en Santa Teresa alrededor de la 3.00 pm en donde nos instalaremos. Después de un breve descanso nosotros iremos a los baños medicinales (no incluido) que se encuentra ubicada a 4,5 km aprox. de Santa Teresa. Cena y pernocte.

DIA 4 : SANTA TERESA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES (D) (A):

A las 8:00 a.m. Aprox. de la mañana después de tomar nuestro desayuno iremos en carro por aproximadamente 30 minutos hasta llegar a Hidroeléctrica, después de llegar a Hidroeléctrica continuaremos caminando  aproximadamente 2 horas  hasta llegar a Aguas calientes.
Llegando a aguas calientes le instalaremos en su hospedaje y coordinaremos el ascenso del día siguiente a la ciudad de Machupicchu.

DIA 5: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO ( D ) :

Muy temprano por la mañana (5:30 am) tomaremos nuestro desayuno para transportarnos en el primer bus que nos llevara hasta el santuario de Machupicchu por 30 minutos aproximadamente. Luego tendremos nuestra visita guiada por aproximadamente 2 horas en donde el guía nos llevara por los lugares más importantes de la ciudadela, después de nuestra visita nosotros tendremos toda la tarde libre para poder tomar fotos y recorrer por nuestra cuenta en Machupicchu (el tiempo depende mucho del horario de tren que se le otorgue ya que tiene que estar media hora antes de la salida de su tren en la estacion), la otra opción es subir al Huaynapicchu (no incluido) para poder apreciar la impresionante vista de toda la ciudadela. Finalmente nosotros tomaremos el bus de retorno a Aguas Calientes para luego ir a la estación y esperar nuestro tren que nos llevará de regreso al poblado de ollantaytambo y luego en bus hasta Cusco en donde nosotros estaremos aproximadamente 11:30 pm.

El tour de Camino Inka Jungle es un trek que combina deportes de aventura como bicicleta de montaña, canotaje, Zip line con  rapel y caminata durante 4 días hasta llegar a Machupicchu  y Huaynapicchu. El inka jungle tour es el tour preferido por jóvenes quienes llegan al Cusco en busca de aventura y deportes extremos.

ITINERARIO

DIA 1: CUSCO – SANTA MARIA (bicicleta y canotaje)

El tour camino inka jungle inicia con el recojo del hotel entre las 6:30 a 7:00 am. y partida con dirección al valle sagrado de los incas (Urubamba), pasando por Ollantaytambo donde aprovisionaremos de agua u otro que nos falte para el tour, en toda esta ruta podremos apreciar hermosos y pintorescos atractivos naturales y culturales. Llegaremos aproximadamente a las 11 am al Nevado Abra Málaga el cual esta a una altitud de 4,350 m.s.n.m, punto de partida con las bicicletas, y descenderemos con dirección hacia la selva alta, pasando por pequeños poblados, campos frutales, ríos y arroyos. Arribaremos al poblado de Santa María alrededor de las 3 pm. Luego seremos transportados hasta determinado lugar del río para comenzar con el Rafting o Canotaje el cual incluye los respectivos cascos, chalecos y guantes salvavidas, este tramo tiene una dificultad III-IV con rápidos emocionantes y con algo de riesgo pero todos supervisados y acompañados de un kayak profesional y en compañía de toda una flota de balsas. Luego de esta emocionante aventura seremos transportados en un vehículo privado para mantener la seguridad de nuestro equipaje y al grupo unido hasta el poblado de Santa María donde pasaremos nuestra primera noche en una casa familiar.

DIA 2: SANTA MARIA - SANTA TERESA (caminata)

El segundo día por el camino del tour inca jungle inicia alrededor de las 5:00 a.m. Para disfrutar en desayuno tradicional luego empezaremos la caminata por la ribera del río. Durante el camino podremos presenciar la flora y fauna del lugar, parte de esta caminata será el camino inka original. Luego podremos cruzar el río utilizando un cable canasta el cual también es otra aventura para recordar. Al internarnos más en la selva, veremos algunas de las muchas especies de aves fantásticas mostrando su belleza y sus sonidos. Recuerda que en esta parte del mundo, la ceja de selva de la Amazonía tiene la más rica diversidad biológica del planeta. Después de un reparador almuerzo en la pequeña aldea de Kellomayo, seguiremos la ruta cruzando por caídas de agua, ríachuelos, plantaciones de frutas, llegando a los baños termales de Santa Teresa el cual es un resort de aguas medicinales y terapéuticas. Luego del relajante baño continuaremos con nuestra caminata 40 minutos más hasta el poblado de Santa Teresa donde pasaremos nuestra segunda noche, acomodándonos en un reconfortante hospedaje familiar.
Esta noche es aprovechada por la mayoría para disfrutar de un 'pisco sour' en alguno de los pequeños pero acogedores Pubs de Santa Teresa, donde entablaremos lazos de amistad duradera con nuestro grupo.

DIA 3: SANTA TERESA – MACHUPICCHU PUEBLO (Caminata)

Este día será marcado por el descubrimiento y la historia que nuestro guía profesional irá describiendo en el camino, ya que atravesáremos las rutas que realizaron los grandes expedicionarios que descubrieron Machupicchu y otros restos arqueológicos importantes. Quienes hayan reservado podrán realizar el Zip line separándose del grupo temporalmente para luego reunirse nuevamente y continuar el recorrido. Después de haber disfrutado del paisaje y un breve descanso descenderemos hacia la Hidroeléctrica, donde nos espera nuestro almuerzo para luego continuar con nuestra caminata disfrutando de las espléndidas caídas de agua proveniente de los glaciares, plantaciones de coca y café de los pobladores locales, continuando a través de la ruta del tren hasta llegar a Aguas Calientes o Machupicchu Pueblo y acomodarnos en nuestro Hospedaje Turístico, que cuenta con todos los servicios necesarios como baño privado, ducha caliente. También es posible disfrutar de las Baños Termales del pueblo por un precio adicional. Por la noche nos reuniremos en un restaurante turístico donde tendremos la opción de hacer el pedido a la carta y planificar con el guía la visita de Machupicchu del día siguiente. Allí pasaremos nuestra última noche a los pies del Gran Machupicchu.

DIA 4: MACHUPICCHU (visita de la Ciudadela Inka)

Alrededor de las 4:00 a.m. nos alistaremos para dirigimos a la ciudadela inka de Machupicchu una vía de subida por medio de la selva, teniendo así la oportunidad de ver el amanecer, luego de registrarnos en el control del parque 6:20 a.m. apreciaremos la salida del sol si la suerte nos acompaña, luego continuaremos la visita dentro de Machupicchu acompañado de nuestro guía profesional quien compartirá sus conocimientos con nosotros durante dos horas aproximadamente y luego tendremos tiempo libre para recorrer y hacer las tomas fotográficas de recuerdo dentro de la ciudadela.

Si el cuerpo nos permite podremos subir a Huaynapicchu (montaña joven) la cúspide del viaje desde donde podremos disfrutar y ver a lo lejos la ciudadela inka en su máxima expresión. Este recorrido podría tomar una hora y media pero vale la pena el esfuerzo ya que el paisaje es indescriptible. Cabe mencionar que la subida de las "escaleras" es moderadamente peligrosa y no recomendada para personas que sufran de vértigo.

Por la tarde descenderemos al pueblo para el retorno en el Tren Turístico desde Machupicchu Pueblo hasta Ollantaytambo, donde seremos recogidas en bus turístico y trasladados hasta Cusco, donde el tour termina.

(B)=Breakfast; (L)=Lunch ; (D)=Dinner  Day 01 : CUSCO - MOLLEPATA - SAYAPATA – HUMANTAY LAKE - SORAYPAMPA (L)(D) We will leave Cusco approximately at 5:00a.m. A bus will take us to the town of Mollepata (2900 meters above sea level) where we will arrive approximately at 7:30 in the morning, we will stop for last minute supplies, leg-stretching or to use the restrooms at a local restaurant. We will continue our journey to Sayapata, our trek starting point. We will meet with our support staff, who will load the equipment on horses and mules. Around 9:00 a.m., we will begin our hike toward Soraypampa (3850 meters above sea level). During the hike we will have panoramic views of the majestic Salkantay, other mountains covered with snow, and the Valley of Apurimac River. Around 1:00p.m., we will have a Peruvian lunch. After lunch, we will visit Humantay Lake, a marvelous lake in the mountains, (3 hours hike) and we will come back to our campsite where the tents will be ready for you as well as your dinner. Walking distance aproximately 10 Km.  Day 02 : SORAYPAMPA - CHALLWAY (B)(L)(D)  Today, nature will change drastically from dry sceneries to snowy peaks and tropical areas. After a nutritious breakfast, we will start the most difficult part of the trek. We will start the hike around 7:00 in the morning. We will hike to a place called Pampas Salkantay, then go toward the left side of the snowy peaks of Umantay located next to the Apu Salkantay. At midday, we will be on the highest point (4600 meters above sea level).We will appreciate spectacular views of the mountains and the imposing snowy peaks of the Salkantay (6264 meters above sea level) which is known as the second highest point of the Cusco region. Around 1:00 p.m., we will have our lunch, in the area called Huayracmachay. After a trek of approximately 3 hours, we will arrive to our camp in Challway (2920 meters above sea level). Around 7:00p.m., we will recuperate from the trek and eat dinner. Walking distance aproximately 18 Km.  Day 03 : CHALLWAY – PLAYA  SAHUAYACO – SANTA TERESA HOT SPRINGS (B)(L)(D) Around 7:00a.m., we will start our trek. We will walk for about 6 hours toward Playa Sahuayaco and during this period; we will observe a town called Collpabamba, also called the “Forest Cloudy Brow” where waterfalls, fruit-bearing trees, varied flora, and birds can be observed. If we are lucky, we will be able to observe the famous bird called the “Cock of the Rocks”. Here we will have lunch. At 2:00 p.m. a local bus will take us to Santa Teresa Hot Springs, where you will enjoy and relax at the hot pools. You will have dinner and camping there. Walking distance aproximately 14 Km.  Day 04 : SANTA TERESA-  HYDROELECTRIC - AGUAS CALIENTES (B)(L)(D) After of our delicious breakfast we are going to walk for approximately around 8:30 a.m we begin our trek, we follow this rising trail, from which we will see plantations of coffee, banana, passion fruit and a lovely view of the Santa Teresa Valley. We follow along the riverside of Vilcanota River until arrive to the Oroya (canopy bridge) From here we have an option to hike to hidroelectrica or to catch a small car where will take us until Hidroelectrica (25 minutes), from this place we can observe the back of Machupicchu Santuary, where we have the last lunch with all staff. from here we will continuo walking until arrive to Aguas Calientes around 4:30 p.m then we will stay in a hostal the last night Walking distance aproximately 10Km.  If  you like  the  adrenaline we  have  the  optional free  zip line + rappel  after  breakfast Day 05: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B)  Today, you will start early at around 4:30a.m. and walk up to Machu Picchu and to the Sun Gate.
